Former CBRE exec starts new real estate firm in Rogers

Longtime Northwest Arkansas commercial real estate broker Clinton Bennett resigned as first vice president from the Fayetteville office of CBRE Inc. after eight years to start his own firm.

Fayetteville retirement community sold for $37 million

Rogers investment firm Beaty Capital Group Inc. completed a $37 million deal July 1 to buy the Grand Village at Clear Creek retirement community at 1998 W. Grand Blvd. in Fayetteville.

A 61,017-square-foot office building in Fayetteville recently sold for $12.7 million. The purchase price equals $208.13 per square foot.

With expansion in mind, J.B. Hunt pays $18 million for office park near Lowell headquarters

Lowell-based J.B. Hunt Transport Services recently closed an $18 million deal to acquire a three-building office park at 506, 509, and 515 Enterprise Drive in Lowell. The 8.8-acre site is 0.5 miles north of the company’s corporate headquarters along northbound Interstate 49.

A 5,438-square-foot commercial building in downtown Fayetteville changed hands recently for $925,000. The purchase price equals $170.09 per square foot.

Block Street Corner LLC, led by Cameron Clark, bought the single-story building at 102-104 N. Block Ave.

Commercial Real Estate In Arkansas Soars in '21

“It was definitely more heated, and I think that will continue,” said Clinton Bennett, a longtime real estate developer who started Bennett Commercial Real Estate in 2020 in Fayetteville. ““Barring some troublesome macroeconomic event popping up, if this economy continues to move the way it has been moving, then I think we will continue to see larger and larger deals in this market in the coming years.”
